Creating a transmittal from within ImandrA Desktop
Rather than creating a transmittal from within Transmittal Manager as described in Creating a transmittal, you can first select the documents in ImandrA Desktop and then add them to one or more new transmittals.
To create a transmittal from within ImandrA Desktop:
- In ImandrA Desktop, select one or more documents from a document list. You may also select documents from the ImandrA Clipboard as described in Using the ImandrA Clipboard.
- Right-click any selected document to show the shortcut menu.
- Select Add to New Transmittal or Add to Existing Transmittal. The selected documents are validated as described in Understanding document validation and the Transmittal Manager opens.
If you selected Add to New Transmittal, the Add transmittal properties wizard appears and the selected documents are added to the transmittal.
If you selected Add to Existing Transmittal, you must select and edit an existing transmittal to which the selected documents will be added.
